Overview

A selection of our projects

Where we work, confidentiality applies – defense and critical infrastructure. Names and locations therefore stay out of view. What we show is what matters: what was built, under which requirements and with what result.

The following projects are deliberately abstracted – no conclusions about the site or the client. What they have in common: tasks in areas with strict access requirements, several trades from a single source and responsibility that does not end at handover.

Large-format LED situation wall for a command room

Defense

Task

Renewed situational display for an active command room – planning, substructure, installation and commissioning of a large-format LED wall.

Scope & Technology

Replacement of an existing display with an LED wall based on current technology, including the complete substructure.

Context

Site with the highest protection requirements – security-critical command and situation room.

Starting Point & Requirement

Outdated display technology in the ongoing operation of a situation room – work possible only in a strictly access-restricted security area.

Result & Benefit

Robust situational display with significantly better image quality and higher operational reliability – handed over operational during ongoing operation.

What It Proves

We work in the ongoing operation of an active command room – several trades from a single source, from the substructure to commissioning.

Tap-proof fiber-optic network infrastructure

Defense

Task

Tap-proof network infrastructure for an entire site – planning and construction of structured fiber-optic network cabling.

Scope & Technology

Structured fiber-optic network infrastructure on a large scale, fully documented ready for acceptance.

Context

Site with elevated protection requirements.

Starting Point & Requirement

Requirement for a tap-proof network infrastructure; fiber-optic deliberately chosen for its higher tap resistance compared to copper. Implementation in an access-restricted security area.

Result & Benefit

A continuous, tap-proof network infrastructure as the backbone of secure communication on the site.

What It Proves

Tap-proof network infrastructure on a large scale – planned and built on a site whose security requirements exceed the usual construction environment.

Maintenance & reference system for a command room

Defense

Task

Permanent availability of a command room – ongoing maintenance (network and media technology) as well as the build of a true-to-original reference system.

Scope & Technology

Maintenance according to a maintenance plan; an identical reference system of the command room for safely testing firmware updates and device configurations.

Context

Site with the highest protection requirements – operation of security-critical systems.

Starting Point & Requirement

Ensure continuous functionality of the system and install updates without endangering production operation.

Result & Benefit

Low-risk maintenance: updates and adjustments are tested in advance in the reference system – higher availability of the production system.

What It Proves

We don't just build, we keep available – proven by an ongoing maintenance contract in a security-critical environment.

End-of-life transmission technology upgraded for the security area

Defense

Task

Operational transmission technology from market devices – commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) encoders/decoders upgraded for use in the security area.

Scope & Technology

Commercial off-the-shelf encoders/decoders replaced and upgraded for use in the security area – end-of-life standard hardware turned back into operational, tested technology.

Context

Site with the highest protection requirements – existing media technology system with end-of-life devices.

Starting Point & Requirement

The existing devices had reached end-of-life from the manufacturer and had to be replaced. Operation in the security area required tested, approval-capable devices – a custom development would have been expensive and slow.

Result & Benefit

From available market devices we created a stable, tested and approval-capable system – faster and cheaper than an in-house development, with lasting security support.

What It Proves

We make end-of-life standard technology operational again and keep it permanently available – not through mere device replacement.

Intrusion detection system for a critical-infrastructure technical building

Critical infrastructure

Task

Secured technical building – build and commissioning of an intrusion detection system (IDS) including network connection.

Scope & Technology

IDS for a central technical building, integrated into the existing network infrastructure.

Context

Critical infrastructure – transport / rail, a security-relevant technical building of a major project.

Starting Point & Requirement

Protection of a central technical building in the critical-infrastructure environment against unauthorized access.

Result & Benefit

Reliable intrusion detection and continuous protection of the technical building.

What It Proves

Security technology cleanly integrated into the existing network infrastructure – one less trade for the operator to coordinate.
