Secure facilities without interrupting operation
Operators of critical infrastructure must harden their facilities physically and technically – during live operation and across decades of availability. Our approach: cross-trade integration and lifecycle from a single source, one point of contact instead of distributed individual responsibilities.
Growing protection pressure with zero tolerance for downtime
Energy suppliers, airports, rail and telecommunications face rising regulatory and real-world threat requirements – physical and technical. Retrofitting must not interrupt operation, and distributed trade lots create interfaces where availability is lost. Our strength is end-to-end responsibility: integration of all trades and operation across the entire facility lifetime.
From the control room to the perimeter
- Control rooms & situation centersIntegration of security and control systems into an operation-ready unit.
- Facilities securedAccess control and perimeter protection for substations, airport facilities and security-critical sites.
- Uninterrupted operationRedundant networks and power supply keep high-availability facilities running.
- Control and management networksRedundant, secure data transmission for networks that must not fail.
- Operation across the lifetimeService contracts and ongoing maintenance – availability as a continuous service, not a one-off promise.
Why IKT
Responsibility across all trades
We take general-contractor responsibility for electrical, data and security technology in one contract. No distributed responsibilities, no coordination effort – one point of contact for planning, integration and operation.
We don't just build – we operate
Ongoing maintenance contracts prove long-term responsibility across the entire operating lifetime. For operators of critical infrastructure, this is the decisive difference from a pure builder.
Access as a trust anchor
We are attuned to projects with elevated access and security requirements and bring the organizational framework for sensitive sites.
What operators come to us for
- Retrofitting access and perimeter protection during live operationWe harden substations, pumping or distribution stations physically and technically without interrupting supply. Work happens in coordinated windows with redundant safeguards.
- Integrating distributed security and control systems into one control roomWe consolidate individual systems across several sites onto one operation-ready operating and alarm layer – one situational picture instead of isolated islands.
- Redundant network and power supply for high-availability facilitiesWe build fail-safe data and power infrastructure designed for redundancy, so individual components can fail without endangering operation.
- Taking over maintenance and operation across the facility lifetimeWe move existing security systems into documented operation with defined response times – even when someone else built them.
Intrusion detection for a critical-infrastructure technical building
For a central technical building in the critical-infrastructure environment (transport/rail), we installed an intrusion detection system and integrated it into the existing network infrastructure – security technology and data connection from a single source, one trade fewer for the operator to coordinate.
